Today was suppose to be a hot one! So I went to the beach with my daughter and our friends. While there we looked and played in the sand and water. We learned about waves, seaweed, sandcastles, crabs, periwinkles, shells, rocks, etc! She got to touch and feel the stuff we studied! When we got home we read a book about fish. My son read a book on all different sharks..It was an early night because my daughter didnt nap. But of course we ended the night off with watching finding nemo! Then my son and i played nemos reef on the kindle. It was an awesome day. I love seeing how curious she is! We also got to go down a huuuuuuge slide! It was just a great day!

At the bus stop today in this beautiful weather and saw this lil guy flying around! Just reminds you that beauty is everywhere and can come when least expected!!! You dont have to look for it, it will find you!

Now I know considering I had my son when I was really young people are probably going to have little comments. But to be quite honest, I'm to the point in my life that I just don't care what you think! I was definently born to be a mom. I love it!!!! I am not saying that I intended on it being In my teens! I can say now from nine year experience I have done a good job! My son is an amazing little person. I love seeing the things he can do in life! He's always there for other people! He's so smart! Im just so proud of the boy he is! My daughter....shes a lil pip! Shes always on the go. She has me on my toes at all times! She is so eager to learn, she just absorbs it like a sponge! Being a young mom has taught me a life lesson that I think alot of adults STILL haven't learned yet! That I am responsible for making someone else happy before myself!!! That these kids matter more than me! I have done everything I possibly can to be an amazing mom. I want to be a mom my kids will grow up remembering all the things I've taught them, or did with them! I want my kids to know everyday how much they mean to me! So looking back to some of the "not so happy Ashley's pregnant" comments we will call them, I don't care! With all the bumps life throws along the way, nothing has changed with my kids. I love being a mom and they will always be the most important part of my life!

We had my sons big bash! It turned out pretty good. I'm excited after all the work I put into it. My son had a bunch of friends come. His uncle surprised him and painted his body green and got a hulk costume. It as EPIC! He came storming into party and picked cam up. I'm pretty sure my son will be telling that story for awhile. The photo booth was a hit! Even the adults were having fun!!! Great day!!!

It's definently may and the icescream man is here!!! I am not complaining. It was a hot day. He hasn't been around in a lonnnng time! As a mom I personally DREAD the ice cream man!!!! The one where I live comes THREE times a day during the summer! REALLY???? Because it wasn't hard enough to explain to my son when you first started to come around in the spring that "we don't need Ice scream everyday!!!" Now I have the pleasure of either serving my kids dessert after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Or having an all out battle everyday with him because "everyone else gets it that many times mom". Bring it on ice scream man!!! I'm pulling the you had a cavity card this summer!

Today I visited a piece of history. These building were used as staging areas for soldiers during WWII. There is 1200 acres. Also all the buildings have underground tunnels connecting each other. These building were used as a detention center for 3,000 German prisoners of war and 4,000 Italian soldiers. After the war the buildings were used as a metal institution.

FUN FACT- The movie shutter island was also filmed here. This is where they filmed all the flash back scenes!

Ok ok....Im not going to lie, I almost peed my pants. These building were so creepy. It doesn't help, that as im walking along these paths my friend is reading all the haunted history that has happened here. Some of the things I saw were amazing. The trees growing from all the rubble. Or to see trees growing from the tops of buildings or windows. All the ivy that wallpapered the buildings were really pretty! But other stuff I saw was pretty disgusting. Like all the trash that people leave, or things people break. I wish I had more time to look around, or was a little braver to go to the REALLY dark areas. Or smarter to bring a flash light!!! Enjoy my pictures

My husband and I took our daughter to the zoo again today! It was a beautiful day out! They even had the splash pad going for the kids. My favorite section of this zoo is the rainforest. I could spend forever in there. Watching the animals, listening to the water and the birds! It's amazing! I was very excited today I usually don't get to see the sloth. He's always hiding or sleeping. Today he was out and about. The bats were trying to get him. It was so cool to see! I can't wait to go back!!!

Today my friend and our kids went to the WWI memorial park. It was a blast. It had a great petting zoo, a little kid playground, a butterfly garden, this JUMBO slide, a beach themed sand box, and a big playground! It was such a good day, and a beautiful park. Perfect for the kids. When they got bored we went to the next fun thing to do. And bonus it was alllllll FREE!!! My LO was exhausted from all the walking and playing! I can't wait to go back

Today my kids and I went with my mother to the aquarium! She's never been! It was small but had a lot to do. There were 3 touch tanks, crafts, games, shows, etc! It was a really fun time! My daughter is obsessed with finding nemo at the moment, so she was very excited. My son loves to learn. They had a huge solar system thing going on also. He is very interested in that. Since we just went to planetarium and made a solar system for school. We all ha a great time touching the sharks and sting rays. My son ha to build a toy out of Legos for an octopus. It was really cool to see. They dropped the toy in and the octopus grabbed the toys and took it apart! I think you should all take a trip to the ocean explorium!

Today was suppose to be a rainy day! My husband and I took our daughter for a nature walk. We actually beat the rain! We got to show our daughter some beautiful trees, some cool stuff on a building, bugs, flowers, a huge turtle, dogs. All and all it was a great am! Check out some of my pics!
